.8 in. X 1.4in. X .3in. Material: Silver and Fabric This was a box ring with the top having the Florentine color purple fabric flowing as if still in movement, The fabric is frozen in time trapped within the ring just like the memories I have of the place.

Viva La Barricade
Viva La Barricade

11in. X 7in. Material: Copper, Silver, Nickel Silver, Enamel Inspired by the French Revolution. The polished silver links represent the connection of the past to the present. The guns are 19th century French guns most often used by the peasants. The Flag- enameled- sits in the past streets, while the guns point at it but are only connected to it by the links of the future. The nickel silver is made grimy to represent the narrow streets of the time.

10in. X 5in. X .6in. Material: Silver and wood. The work is a necklace inspired off of modern day corsets. The wood is in replace of the ribbon and the silver rings are for the corset itself, however, the piece is loose and flows unlike restricting corsets.

Industrial Revolution

5.5in. X 5in. X .8in. Material: Steel, Copper, and Silver. Inspired by the industrial revolution the necklace turns to open and close the copper spheres. A mechanism simple yet machine like much like the tools being used during the industrial revolution. The harsh gritty steal and copper demonstrate the polluting factories of the time with the silver links leading to the new age of technology and cleanliness.
